2-family historically renovated, and kept a 2-family
This 1906 duplex is on a great street of single family homes and duplex rentals. With roofs leaking and floors buckling — it needed everything. We envisioned two large apartments, and moved the kitchens from the back of the building to the middle. This created a more open plan between the kitchen and living room, and also gave each unit an additional bedroom.
Some of the updates involved: Replacing the systems throughout, roof and tuck pointing, moving the kitchens to the middle of the units, restoring/replacing hardwood floors throughout.
